Two pedestrians were struck by a passing vehicle while walking along Indian Line in Haldimand County Saturday night, killing the female pedestrian on the scene.
The second pedestrian, a male, suffered minor injuries and was treated on the scene by emergency responders.
Police say the vehicle swerved across the road, hitting the two pedestrians before crashing into a ditch.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the accident. The names of the driver and victims have not yet been released.
