Myla joined Greg Monforton and Partners as an Associate Lawyer in 2018 after completing her articles with our firm. She is a native Windsorite who was called to the bar of Ontario in 2018 and received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Windsor in 2017. In 2014, Myla received her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Sociology from the University of Windsor and was awarded the Board of Governors medal for graduating with the highest academic standing in her program.
As an undergraduate student, Myla served as the President of Windsor’s Golden Key International Honour Society, which furthered her commitment to academics, leadership, and service. During law school, Myla’s interest in civil procedure and litigation developed as she completed a clerkship at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor. She assisted unrepresented litigants access legal services in our community as a Pro Bono Students Canada volunteer and as the Family Law Project Coordinator. Myla directed the Windsor Law High School Outreach Program and was a member of the local Ontario Justice Education Network committee. She enjoyed mentoring prospective and current law students as a student ambassador and through the Peer Mentorship Program.
