Myla was raised in LaSalle, Ontario and attended the University of Windsor. In 2014, she received her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Sociology and was awarded the Board of Governors Medal for graduating with the highest academic standing in her program. She received her Juris Doctor degree in 2017. Myla joined Greg Monforton and Partners as an Associate Lawyer in 2018 after articling with our firm.

During law school, Myla was actively involved in the Windsor-Essex community. She completed a judicial clerkship, worked as a research assistant, and volunteered with organizations including Pro Bono Students Canada and the Ontario Justice Education Network.

Myla continues her community involvement and has been a member of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Windsor Essex Agency Board of Directors and the Risk Management Committee since 2020.
