A 17-year-old boy from Markham was killed late Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle car crash north of Owen Sound.

According to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the collision happened around 5:30 p.m. Friday on Highway 6 near Limberlost Road near the South Bruce Peninsula.
Police say an SUV and a smaller passenger vehicle collided head-on. The 17-year-old was taken to hospital where he was later pronounced dead of his injuries. Three other individuals involved in the crash sustained severe, but not life-threatening injuries.
