Chatham-Kent Crash Causes Injuries to Eight People

orange helicopter climbing in skyThere was a dangerous single-vehicle crash in Chatham-Kent yesterday that sent eight people to the hospital. Four had to be airlifted from Chatham-Kent Health Alliance to other hospitals.

The crash occurred before 6:45 a.m. on Sunday. Chatham-Kent police responded to the accident on the westbound side of the road. According to the police, the vehicle was heading east on Fairview Line, but the driver passed a stop sign at Kent Bridge Road. The car then veered into a ditch on the other side of the road.

There were eight people in the car, all of whom were taken to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for treatment. However, four of the victims had to be airlifted to other hospitals for treatment. They were taken to London Victoria Hospital and Windsor Regional Hospital.
