Ontario Motorcycle Crash Investigation Underway

An investigation is underway following a motorcycle accident which resulted in serious injuries. Police have reported that the man driving the motorcycle lost control of the bike causing him to strike a pole along the side of the road.
The accident occurred on Tuesday night on High Street between Front Street and Grand Avenue when the 25 year old decided to attempt to flee from the police, which resulted in a trip to the nearest hospital.
In 2010, there were roughly 637,000 licensed motorcycle riders throughout Canada along with 180 fatalities. It is estimated that motorcyclists are 18 times more likely to become killed in an automobile accident than any other type of driver.
