Two women were rushed to the hospital after a serious two-vehicle crash just outside of Dresden Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Chatham Daily News, Chatham-Kent Police were called to the accident scene at about 3 p.m. between Dawn Mills Road and Croton Line.
A 27-year-old female driver from North York was heading east on Croton Line when she hit another vehicle heading north on Dawn Mills Road being driven by a 64-year old female driver from Dresden.
Police report both women were sent to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with serious injuries before being transferred to other local hospitals for further treatment. The estimated damage caused by the crash is $50,000.
The Traffic Unit has taken over the investigation and is asking anyone with information to please contact them at 519-355-1092.
