On 17 July 2025, two pedestrians were struck and injured while crossing Tecumseh Road. Windsor police officers responded to the pedestrian vs. MVA collision shortly after 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Tecumseh Road East and Princess Avenue.

Upon arrival, police determined that the incident happened when a vehicle travelling northbound on Princess Avenue was attempting to turn right onto Tecumseh Road East. The two pedestrians—both women— were walking across Tecumseh Road East in the crosswalk when they were hit.
The collision injured both women, one of whom appeared initially to suffer life-threatening injuries. However, medical professionals later assessed her condition as less serious following treatment. The second pedestrian also sustained injuries deemed to be non-life-threatening.
