Four-Vehicle Collision Shuts Down E.C. Row Expressway

An accident that took place in the westbound lane of the E.C. Row Expressway on Tuesday ended in a multi-vehicle crash that sent two people to the hospital.

At approximately 2 p.m. on October 14, a collision occurred at the Matchette Road overpass on the expressway. Ontario Provincial Police have not revealed the cause of the crash, but they have stated that the collision involved four vehicles and injured two people, one of them a child.

The injured victims were transported to the hospital for treatment and OPP continues to investigate the crash. The westbound lane of E.C. Row was closed for about two hours.
