Local sources have advised that an allegedly drunk driver has smashed into a parked car while driving near the 900 block of Partington Avenue.
When Police arrived at the accident scene, a 34 year old woman was sitting on the curb where she was arrested after Police started talking to the woman and could detect the smell of alcohol on her breath.
According to witnesses, the driver had hit the rear of a 2011 blue Mazda 3 while she was driving a white, 2009 Ford Fusion, causing approximately $10,000 in damage to each car.
While the name of the driver has not been released, she has since been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
The investigation continues.
