Young Teen Struck, Seriously Injured by Vehicle in Windsor

A young teen was struck by a vehicle late Monday afternoon in Windsor. The crash happened around 3 p.m. near Dominion Boulevard and Norfolk Street. The 14-year-old teen, who was riding a scooter when he was hit by the vehicle, was taken to hospital with injuries that were assessed as serious.

Dominion Boulevard and Norfolk Street Closed to Traffic for Hours

According to a news report, Windsor police closed Dominion Boulevard between McKay Avenue and Norfolk Street for several hours to allow them to investigate the area. The driver remained on the crash scene.
