Local Police officers have provided details on a fatal car vs. pedestrian accident that took place on Seminole Street and Pillette Road at approximately 7:30 p.m in East Windsor on Saturday evening.
The pedestrian64 year old Ms. Barbara Pane was hit by a silver Chrysler 300 that the Police believe was trying to make a turn when the collision took place.
The accident victims’ nephew Mr. Dwayne Pare commented on the accident after confirming the passing of his aunt on Sunday morning:
Everyone is very heartbroken and sad because, besides her being strong, she was the kindest person you’d ever meet…. She did everything for everyone and was so selfless…. Its a very difficult time because no one can imagine her not being the centre of the family,
While Police are still investigating the incident, they have asked for any witnesses to the incident to come forward and contract the local traffic branch by calling 519-255-6700 (ext. 4211) or by calling Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477.
