Authorities from the Windsor Police Dept. have advised that a female pedestrian has been struck and seriously injured by a passing vehicle on Riverside Drive East and Langlois Avenue during a heavy rain storm on Wednesday, September 10th, 2014.
While details of the incident are still being investigated, the accident took place at approximately 4 p.m and resulted in the complete closure of Riverside Drive.
Police have asked any witnesses to please contact them with any information.
