Heather’s journey with our firm began in 2015 when she first joined as an articling student. Over the years, she has grown into an exceptional advocate, leader, and mentor whose dedication to clients and commitment to the legal community reflect the values our firm was built on.
A Windsor Success Story
Born and raised in Windsor, Heather completed both her undergraduate and law degrees at the University of Windsor, where she was the recipient of the Chancellor Jackman Scholarship.
During law school, Heather’s commitment to service was already evident. As Program Coordinator of Pro Bono Students Canada, she worked to help local non-profit organizations access legal services. She also served as a student representative on the Faculty of Law’s Admissions Committee, contributing to the future of legal education in our community.
Building a Career on Dedication
Heather has been with our firm ever since summering and completing her articles at Greg Monforton and Partners,. Her dedication to clients and her service beyond the courtroom have been the foundation of her success.
Leadership in the Legal Community
Heather’s commitment extends well beyond client representation. She is a frequent contributor to the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association blog and serves as a member of the Executive Committee of Spinal Cord Injury Ontario.
At Greg Monforton & Partners, Heather acts as Coordinator of the Student Program, helping to mentor the next generation of lawyers — a role that reflects both her leadership abilities and her commitment to giving back to the legal community that supported her own development.
