Local authorities have advised that 59 year old Ms. Jorgina Melo of Windsor has passed after having suffered serious injuries following an accident involving a van running into a Leamington home located on Oak Street East earlier this week.
According to reports, while four other passengers were treated for various injuries, Ms. Melo was rushed to hospital shortly after the van collided with the structure yet was unable to survive due to the extent of her injuries.
This is an ongoing investigation with Police stating that charges are pending.
