The Downtown Mission is a Christian, not-for-profit organization that serves and advocates for people who are homeless or in poverty. This organization helps these individuals in a variety of ways, including providing emergency shelter, hot meals or food packs for individuals or families.

The Downtown Mission began in 1972 when a group from the Central United Church started a coffee program for homeless men in the area.

Thank you to our staff members for donating their time to help this organization.
