Thursday Afternoon Crash Leaves Bicyclist with Life-Threatening Injuries

police yellow tapeAround 3:30 p.m. yesterday a bicyclist was hit by a car on Tecumseh Rd. E at Parent Ave. in front of the Caboto Club, according to Windsor Police. Officers arrived to find a black Volkswagen Jetta on its side. The bicyclist was lying on the road.

The police have not filed charges against the driver and have not said what charges this person will face, if any. The police shut down this stretch of road for hours to investigate the crash. The road was reopened late last night.
