We are proud to announce that our newest associate lawyer Francesca Provenzano is collecting donations for a charity initiative called Sacks for Santa.
Francesca founded this charity back in 2019 to provide hygiene products, winter gear and perishable snacks for homeless youth at the Windsor Youth Centre. These products are put into backpacks to be distributed at the Windsor Youth Centre around Christmas. The backpacks also contain handwritten holiday cards with motivational quotes for inspiration and to remind the youth that they are not alone during the holiday season.
You can donate any of the following items:
- Backpacks
- Blankets
- Socks
- Toothbrushes/toothpaste
- Deodorant
- Underwear
- Soap/body wash/shampoo
- Gloves
- Hats
- Scarves
- Bus tickets
- Gift cards for food
- Non-perishable snacks
- Hand sanitizer
- Tissues
- Hoodies
- Water bottles/juice boxes
Backpacks, blankets, scarves and hoodies can be gently used.
Both itemized and monetary donations are accepted. Monetary donations are used to purchase items for the backpacks.
Francesca has a donation box in her office and will be collecting donations until Friday, December 15, 2023.
