Greg Monforton, founder of the law firm, has been selected as a semi-finalist for the Professional of the Year Award by the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Finalists will be announced on Jan. 12, 2016 and the award will be presented at the 26th Annual Business Excellence Awards on Wednesday, April 27, 2016.
Since 1991, the Business Excellence Awards have recognized the achievements and contributions of business leaders in Windsor and Essex County. The annual event brings together business, government and industry leaders and draws over 700 Chamber members and guests.
To be considered for the Professional of the Year Award, a person must demonstrate excellence in their field of business as well as leadership and a positive impact on the community. Nominees must complete a questionnaire, as well as approve and accept the nomination to be considered by the award committee.
Through his questionnaire, Greg Monforton highlighted his personal, professional and business achievements. He also demonstrated his true to commitment to serving the community through local charity work and events.
While Greg is honoured by the nomination, he also believes that this award is as much, or more, of a product of the firms efforts rather than his effort.
