A Windsor motor vehicle collision that occurred late last Tuesday evening on Huron Church Road left a pedestrian with critical injuries.
Police Responded to Collision Report After 9:30 on Tuesday Night
Police received notice of a collision on April 22 just after 9:30 p.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a southbound-traveling vehicle had struck a pedestrian who was in the middle of the road. The collision occurred on Huron Church Road, close to the intersection at Tecumseh Road West.
Victim Sustained Life-Threatening Injuries
The pedestrian, a 30-year-old male, reportedly sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash and was taken to hospital. The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene. Police have not stated whether charges will be laid.
The surrounding area was shut down for several hours to allow the Windsor Police Collision Reconstruction Unit to investigate and process the crash scene.
