Motorcycle Crash in Chatham-Kent Leaves Motorcyclist with Serious Injuries

motorcycle crash in chatham-kentA 55-year-old Chatman resident was taken to a Windsor hospital Sunday night with serious injuries following a crash involving a motorcycle.

The Chatham-Kent police were called to the scene on Raleigh Street near Richmond Street at about 7 p.m. The driver of the motorcycle was involved in a collision with a car. The motorcyclist was first sent to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance before being transferred to Windsor.

A 21-year-old woman from the city of Elora has since been charged with making an unsafe turn. Total property damage for both vehicles is estimated at $7,000.
