Greg Monforton & Partners is pleased to announce that associate lawyer Joanna Sweet has been promoted to the position of Senior Associate. This means she will now lead her own team of lawyers and support staff.
Joanna started her career with the firm as an articling student and joined as an associate lawyer in 2013 immediately upon her call to the bar. She concentrates her practice in the area of personal injury law, representing clients seriously injured in car accidents, slip and falls, and from dog bites. She earned her law degree in 2006 from the University of Windsor and her doctorate in 2012 from Carleton University.
Joanna has, over the years, proven herself to be an excellent and impressive lawyer. She is also a team player who significantly contributes to all aspects of our firm. Today, she is headed out to the Faculty of Law Career Day at the University of Windsor to promote our firm and to plant recruitment seeds with interested students. Additionally, Joanna teaches Constitutional Law to law students at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law.
We are very proud to have someone of Joanna’s caliber at our firm and we are pleased to promote her to Senior Associate.
