Greg Monforton & Partners, Injury Lawyers (GMP) proudly announce that our former managing partner, Jennifer Bezaire, has been appointed a Judge of the Superior Court of Justice of Ontario. The Honourable Arif Virani, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, announced Jennifer’s appointment on August 28, 2023.
Jennifer joined GMP almost 20 years ago after spending her first few years as a student and then associate lawyer at Fraser, Milner, Casgrain LLP (now Dentons LLP) in Toronto.
Jennifer quickly rose to the top of our firm, handling some of the most significant injury cases in our region and obtaining incredible outcomes for her clients. She relentlessly protected the rights of innocent accident victims, ensuring they obtained fair compensation for their injuries.
Jennifer also quickly rose to the top of her profession, volunteering to help wherever she could. Most recently, she was an Executive member of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, an appointee to the Ontario Civil Rules Committee, a member of the Product Technical Advisory Committee of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority and co-chair of the Windsor-Essex Bench and Bar Committee. Jennifer was also a speaker at many continuing legal education seminars and programs. Additionally, she taught Auto Insurance Law to upper year students at her alma mater, the Faculty of Law, University of Windsor.
Jennifer was also honoured by her peers who selected her for inclusion in directories for Best Lawyers in Canada® and Lexpert®.

“However, Jennifer’s biggest impact was in her daily, devoted service to our law firm. She managed our firm with dignity, professionalism and pride, humbly mentoring us in countless ways including human resources, office management, file management, negotiation strategy and advocacy. We have learned much from Jennifer, and this will be her true legacy.”
