Associate Lawyer Jaclyn Habas Elected to the Board of Directors of the Essex Law Association

court columns Our associate lawyer Jaclyn Habas has been elected to the board of directors of the Essex Law Association (ELA). Jaclyn will serve as Junior Director for the upcoming year.

The ELA is one of the oldest professional associations in Canada with a current membership of more than 600 lawyers in Windsor and Essex County. The association is governed by an 18-person board of directors to represent the interests of its members. The ELA also works with the local judiciary and province of Ontario to improve the way the court system functions for the benefit of the community.

This latest appointment speaks well of Jaclyn’s determination, initiative and of the respect she enjoys from her colleagues in our local Bar.

Jaclyn is focused primarily on representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. In addition to being an ELA member, she is also a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.

Congratulations Jaclyn.
We are very proud of you.
