Greg Monforton & Partners is pleased to announce that our Associate Irina Rosca has been selected to serve as a member of The Advocates’ Society’s Young Advocates’ Standing Committee (YASC) for the 2020/21 term.
Since 1963, The Advocates’ Society is Canada’s premier provider of advocacy skills training, offering special litigation programs, resources as well as community, networking and mentoring events.
YASC is the young lawyers’ division of The Advocates’ Society, geared towards endorsing the interests of lawyers within the first ten years of their respective practice, mostly in litigation.
Consisting of about 40 members, YASC connects youth advocates with volunteer opportunities and supports the activities of the Advocates’ Society’s Board of Directors and the various sub-committees of the Board.
YASC members must also reapply every two years.
We are so proud of Irina and look forward to hearing all about her work on the Board.
