Hit-and-Run in Windsor Leaves Cyclist Seriously Injured

police respond to hit and run involving cyclistA cyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries after a hit-and-run Sunday evening, Windsor Star reports.

An officer driving in the 900 block of Tecumseh Road West spotted a bicycle laying in the road around 8:40 p.m. The officer stopped to move the bicycle and found an injured man underneath the bicycle.

Emergency responders rushed the unidentified victim to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. His current condition remains unknown at this time.

The traffic reconstruction and forensic identification units were also in attendance to thoroughly process the scene.
