Motorist Killed After Crash on Southbound Lauzon Parkway in Windsor

police lightsA male motorist is dead after a serious collision on Saturday afternoon.

The Windsor Police and other first responders were called to the accident scene involving a Dodge minivan and a Ford pickup truck at the intersection of Lauzon Parkway and Forest Glade Drive at around 3:45 p.m.

The driver of the minivan was killed and a female passenger was rushed to the local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck was arrested by police and has been charged with two counts of dangerous driving causing death and bodily harm.

The southbound lanes of Lauzon Parkway have since reopened after several hours of investigation.
