Fatal Multi-Car Crash Closes Queens Line in Tilbury

emergency vehicle rushing to crash sceneChatham-Kent police say one person suffered fatal injuries and another was badly injured in a crash that happened early Monday morning on Queens Line in Tilbury.

According to a report in Windsor News, emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash at about 6:56 a.m. Monday morning near Davidson Road.

As a result of the crash, one person was transported to hospital with injuries and another victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

No names are being released at this time out of respect for the victims’ families.

Following the crash, traffic on Queens Line was blocked in both directions for several hours to enable police to investigate what may have happened.
