A cyclist was rushed to the local hospital in serious condition after an incident late Saturday afternoon, May 17th.
Windsor police were called to the intersection of Walker Road and Richmond Street for a report of a cyclist being hit by a motor vehicle at around 5:15 p.m. The victim still remains hospitalized.
The intersection was closed in either direction for at least eight hours to investigate and reconstruct the accident scene.
There is currently no information being issued regarding the identity of the victim or the kind of vehicle involved. There is also no word yet if any charges are being filed.
