Cyclist Fatally Injured in Kingsville Car Crash

Ontario Provincial Police were called to a crash scene in Kingsville late Wednesday night. The collision occurred at approximately 11 p.m. on County Road 20, just west of McCain Side Road.

Along with the OPP, Kingsville Fire and Rescue and Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Services responded to the crash. The cyclist, a 43-year-old male, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The driver involved in the crash was not injured.

Kingsville Crash Investigation Continues

County Road 20 was reportedly closed between Arner Townline (County Road 23) and McCain Side Road while the scene was investigated. The road reopened at approximately 1:30 on Thursday.

The investigation is ongoing. No word yet on whether charges will be laid.
