Two people were taken to the hospital Thursday morning with non-critical injuries after an accident on Highway 3 near Kingsville.
The Kingsville Fire Department, Essex-Windsor EMS and the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to the scene between Graham Side Road and County Road 34 around 10:30 a.m.
A four-door sedan and a transport truck were involved in the crash. The impact caused the car to land on its roof on one side of the road and sustain serious property damage. The truck, which was transporting loose material in a live bottom trailer, was found in a ditch on the opposite end.
The scene on Highway 3 east of Graham Side Road continues to remain closed for commuters. The cause of the collision is still under investigation at this time.
