Two Injured In Wellesley Township Collision

Waterloo Regional Police (RLP) have just released details on a serious, two vehicle accident that occurred on Hutchison Avenue just north of Wellesley Township on Wednesday afternoon.

According to sources, the accident involved a minivan and a pickup truck, with both drivers a 77 year old male and a 19 year old Alma male being taken to nearby hospitals with serious injuries.

In a statement from Sgt. Tim Lederman of RLP:

Weather is considered to be the main factor (in the crash),”

Police had also mentioned that many drivers were facing whiteouts and blowing snow, which may have been a contributing factor to the collision.
