Toddler Survives Fatal Car Accident In Chatham

personal injury lawyer Greg MonfortonLocal Police in Chatham-Kent have released initial details on a tragic accident involving a 25 year old woman and two year old infant that occurred on Sunday evening.

According to reports, the accident took place just near Prince Albert Road on Union Line, to the north of Chatham and involved a 2006 Pontiac G6 losing control and colliding with the concrete railing of a bridge.

The force of the impact resulted in the vehicle becoming a twisted wreck, with the driver a resident of Dresden being pronounced dead at the scene.

The female driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger in the vehicle a two year old child survived the incident and was later discharged from hospital.

While Police are yet to determine the relationship between the woman and the infant, family members of the driver have requested that the name of the female to be withheld.
