A driver involved in a three-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon had to be extricated through the windshield of his vehicle and taken to hospital, according to the Tecumseh Fire and Rescue Service.
That driver was one of four people who were injured in the accident, which occurred at the intersection of Sexton Side Road and County Road 46 in Tecumseh at approximately 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
None of the injuries is life-threatening, according to the Essex County OPP. The motorist who had to be extricated had been trapped inside his vehicle after rolling into a ditch.
