The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested a suspect in connection to a hit-and-run in Kingsville that seriously injured a pedestrian last Tuesday.
According to CBC News, a 55-year-old woman from Windsor struck an 89-year-old man from Leamington while he was attempting to cross Highway 3 near County Road 34. He was taken to the local hospital with serious injuries.
The woman has been charged by the OPP with failing to stop at an accident causing bodily harm. She is expected to appear in Windsor Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
