Early Sunday morning, a single-vehicle crash on Erie Street resulted in severe injuries for the driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Around 5:45 a.m., Windsor police responded to the incident in the 400 block where the vehicle had veered off the road, colliding with a monument.
The impact left the driver with life-threatening injuries that required urgent medical attention. The victim was taken to Detroit for advanced treatment.
