There was an injury crash yesterday around 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Wyandotte Street East and Lauzon Road. A black SUV and silver sedan collided, with the sedan suffering serious damage to the front driver side. The driver was seriously injured and had to be hospitalized.
After the crash, the two vehicles involved came to rest on Lauzon Road on the northbound side, at the south side of the intersection.
Essex-Windsor EMS and Windsor police and firefighters responded to the crash. The police had to shut down traffic in both directions as the crash was investigated. The road was reopened later in the day.
