Serious Crash on Highway 401 Being Investigated by Chatham-Kent OPP

tractor-trailer traveling early morning hoursOne person was injured after a serious crash in Chatham-Kent between a tractor-trailer and a cargo van early Monday morning.

Chatham-Kent OPP was called to the scene near the 121 km market in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 at about 2:30 a.m.

According to CTV Windsor, the force of the impact caused the cargo van to roll and come to rest in a ditch. The driver of the van was sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Neither driver of either vehicle has been identified at this time.
