Semi Crash Shut Down Section of Highway 3 in Essex County

According to BlackburnNews.com, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to the accident scene just after 12 a.m. between Division Road and Inmar Side Road.

The OPP have not released details on the cause of the crash or the identities of those involved. However, at least one person was taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

This section of Highway 3 was shut down for multiple hours following the two-vehicle crash. All lanes were reopened at about 10 a.m. The circumstances leading up to the crash remain unclear at this time.
