Greg Monforton Presenting Webinar on the Rules of Evidence and Objections at Trial

rules of evidence and trial objectionsOn Thursday, May 2nd, our founder Greg Monforton will be presenting an Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA) webinar titled, “ABCs of the Rules of Evidence and Objections at Trial” alongside former Superior Court Judge Richard Gates.  

The webinar will be offered from 12 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. Registration is limited to OTLA members only. Participants can register for the program on the OTLA website and receive up to 1.25 substantive hours of Continued Professional Development (CPD) credits.

The program will cover the basic rules of evidence every trial lawyer should know, how to effectively introduce evidence, when and how to properly respond to objections as well as the do’s and don’ts of objecting opening and closing arguments.

Greg Monforton is a well-known trial lawyer with extensive experience in the courtroom and in the general practice of law. He is also a former president of the OTLA, in which he helped spearhead the drive to reform Ontario’s automobile insurance laws in Canada.

His prior speaking engagements for the OTLA include webinars on winning strategies in traumatic brain injury cases, conducting an examination for discovery, preparing your client to testify at trial, building the ultimate chronic pain case, and overcoming common challenges no matter where you practice.
