Windsor Police Investigating Fatal Crash on Wyandotte Street West

daytime shot of top of police carWindsor police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that happened at about 2 a.m. on Saturday on Wyandotte Street West near Partington Avenue.

The crash involved a black Honda and a concrete utility pole. The Honda was heading westbound at a high rate of speed when it crashed, according to the Windsor police.

Two people in the Honda were killed while two others suffered serious injuries. The identities of those involved will not be released until the victims’ families have been notified.

Wyandotte Street was closed both ways between Randolph Avenue and Bridge Avenue for several hours as the crash was investigated. The road was reopened a little before 2 p.m. on Saturday.
