Windsor Police have released details on a pedestrian accident that occurred at approximately 1 p.m on Friday afternoon.
According to reports, the female accident victim was crossing Tecumseh Road at the intersection of Tecumseh Road East and Rose Ville Garden Drive and was struck by a Ford F-450 pickup truck as the vehicle was trying to turn and head westbound on Tecumseh Road.
While the accident was not a fatality and the victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, the incident took place at the very same intersection that took the life of 43 year-old Andrew Jackson on December 16th, 2013.
