Two Hospitalized After Serious Crash in Chatham-Kent Involving Pickup Truck and SUV

ambulance with lights onThere was a serious collision in Chatham-Kent on Thursday afternoon between a pickup truck and SUV. Two individuals involved suffered serious injuries and had to be hospitalized.

The crash happened in Raleigh Township between Wellwood Road and Ninth Line around 3 p.m.

The pickup truck hit the SUV inside the intersection. The force of the collision sent the pickup truck into a ditch, where it rolled over. The truck driver was thrown out of the vehicle.

The SUV also rolled over during the crash, causing its driver to suffer serious injuries. However, the rollover stopped with the SUV resting on its tires.

A passenger was also injured in the crash, but this person’s injuries were not life-threatening.
