Police Looking For Witnesses to Pedestrian Crash on E.C. Row Expressway

sign for ramp closureA pedestrian got hit by a car on Tuesday afternoon on an off-ramp for the E.C. Row Expressway. The victim is a 62-year-old male, and he suffered life-threatening injuries.

The crash happened around noon on Tuesday on the Howard Avenue off-ramp. The police and other responders got to the scene around 12:30.

Traffic on the expressway was affected for several hours. The authorities blocked off the eastside lanes between Howard Avenue and Dougall Avenue.

Windsor police investigators want to talk to anyone who saw the collision or saw the victim walking on the expressway before the accident. They are encouraging those who have dashcams in their vehicles to review and submit any footage that may be helpful.
