Motorcyclist Injured in Serious Crash Under Investigation in Amherstburg

motorcyclist injured in crash in amherstburgOne person was taken to the local hospital late Wednesday afternoon following a serious crash in Amherstburg between a motorcycle and a car.

Windsor Police Service were called to the accident scene at the intersection of County Road 20 and Kingsbridge Drive at around 5:30 p.m.

According to BlackburnNews.com, the driver of the motorcycle was discovered lying close to the motorcycle with potentially life-threatening injuries.  The driver of the car sustained no injuries.

Several people who witnessed the crash were interviewed by police. The intersection was closed for numerous hours while the collision reconstruction unit investigated the scene. The exact cause of the crash is still unknown.
