A motorcycle rider was injured in a crash with a sedan on Sunday night at the intersection of Wyandotte Street East and Marentette Avenue. Fortunately, the rider’s injuries were non-life-threatening.
The police got to the scene just after 9 p.m. last night. They say the motorcyclist was heading west when the collision with the northbound sedan occurred.
The police charged the driver with careless driving. They also closed Wyandotte Street from Louis Avenue to Parent Avenue to investigate. Drivers were told to avoid the location and find alternate routes. The authorities reopened the road at about 3 a.m. this morning.
