CALL 24/7A 72-year-old Kingsville woman has been fatally injured following a single-vehicle crash in Leamington on Tuesday morning.
According to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), emergency crews responded to the collision at approximately 9:30 a.m. on September 22. The crash occurred on County Road 31 between County Road 20 and County Road 34.
Emergency responders unsuccessfully attempted resuscitation efforts at the scene.
County Road 31 was temporarily closed while police investigated the collision and has since reopened.
The circumstances surrounding the crash have not been released, and the investigation remains ongoing. Essex County OPP is asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has relevant dashcam or surveillance footage to contact police at 1-888-310-1122.
