On Friday, January 29th, partner Jennifer Bezaire will be presenting a paper at Tricks of the Trade, an annual conference for the personal injury bar hosted by The Advocates’ Society (TAS). The paper is titled, “Accident Benefits Update”, and it covers various changes and decisions with the Licence Appeal Tribunal (LAT).
The TAS event will be fully remote via webcast this year and run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Registration is opened to everyone. Participants can be eligible to receive up to 1.5 professionalism hours and up to four substantive hours of Continued Professional Development (CPD) credits.
Other program highlights include updates on key tort decisions, recent cases and COVID-related issues involving waivers, recent cases and trends involving police liability, ethical issues encountered in personal injury litigation and recent changes and future areas for reform in the wake of COVID-19.
