CALL 24/7The 17th annual Hats On For Healthcare Radiothon is taking place Thursday, March 5, 2026, bringing the Windsor-Essex community together to support Windsor Regional Hospital’s most urgent needs. Hosted live from the Windsor Regional Hospital – Met Campus (1995 Lens Ave.), the radiothon runs 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and is broadcast across AM800 CKLW, Virgin 93.9, and 89X.
As presenting sponsor, Greg Monforton & Partners is proud to help amplify the stories and the impact behind every donation – with a $100,000 fundraising goal set for this year’s campaign. Representing the firm at the hospital today, Kortney Larocque joined the live radiothon and connected with Stacey MacDonald, Manager of Philanthropy, Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation. Later today, an interview with Greg Monforton will air at 5:00 p.m., where he will speak to why this cause matters and encourage the community to help move this year’s campaign toward its goal. Since its inception, Hats On For Healthcare has raised over $700,000 in support of Windsor Regional Hospital.
What’s New for 2026: Donor Choice and Community Challenges
A major addition this year is Donor Choice – for the first time, donors can direct their gift to one of 40 specific hospital programs, including areas like cardiology, oncology, and pediatrics. Undesignated gifts will support the hospital’s most emergent equipment needs.
This year also includes new and expanded community initiatives, including a WRH Staff Team Challenge and Hockey Helps, a partnership with the Windsor Spitfires that matches youth teams and schools with “Spitfire Co-Captains” to drive friendly fundraising competition.
City Proclamation: “Hat Day” on March 11
The City of Windsor has officially proclaimed March 11, 2026 as “Hats On For Healthcare – Hat Day,” encouraging community-wide participation and headwear-based fundraising.

Looking Ahead: Hatsquerade (April 16)
Community support doesn’t stop at the radiothon. The signature Hatsquerade event takes place April 16, 2026 (5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.) at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts.
