Sunday Afternoon Crash Leaves Three Severely Injured

police cars during the dayThree people suffered life-threatening injuries in a head-on collision on County Road 42 in Lakeshore just after 5:30 p.m. near a Shell gas station.

The crash happened between Lakeshore Road 103 and Elmstead Road on County Road 42.

The Lakeshore Fire Department had to assist with taking the victims out of the vehicles involved in the crash.

At least two of the victims were taken from the scene in an ambulance for treatment of their injuries.

The area around the crash was closed to traffic while accident reconstruction officers from Ontario Provincial Police investigated the accident.
