Greg Monforton & Partners is deeply committed to the community we serve, which includes finding ways that we can give back.
Last week was one of those moments. We were thrilled for the opportunity to help sponsor the Brain Injury Association of Windsor & Essex County (BIAWE) Annual Golf Tournament. This event took place at Kingsville Golf and Country Club, a scenic 27-hole course near Lake Erie known for its well-groomed fairways and championship-level quality!
Cory Simard and Frank Piazza, both associates at our firm, represented us by participating in the tournament, swinging their clubs for an excellent cause. They say we won’t be bragging about their score anytime soon, but we are certainly proud of their participation in this important event.
What BIAWE Is About
The real winners of the day were the individuals and families supported by BIAWE. This annual tournament is not only about hitting drives and sinking putts. The real purpose is raising crucial funds for the BIAWE, an organisation that makes a vital difference in our community. All funds raised from this event go directly towards operating BIAWE’s invaluable programs and services.
These programs include:
- Peer support groups
- Social outings for those living with brain injuries and their caregivers
- Educational initiatives
- Prevention and awareness campaigns
- Essential client services
As personal injury lawyers, we have seen firsthand the impact and challenges injured victims with brain injuries face on a daily basis. Supporting BIAWE’s mission to improve the lives of these individuals and their families is just one small way we can give back.
Thank you to all the organisers, fellow sponsors, and participants who made this event a huge success!
